1. Float cum Boost Charger
Operates either in Float mode or Boost Mode. During Boost mode operation, Battery shall take care of Load thru’ tap cell diode and Battery and charger combination shall be isolated from load automatically thru’ DC contactor to avoid high voltage insertion to load. After completion of charging, both Battery and charger shall be connected to load automatically.

2. Float and Boost Charger
Normally Float charger always take care of load and Boost is kept as standby. When Boost charge required, Battery and Boost charger combination shall be isolated from load automatically thru’ DC contactor to avoid high voltage insertion to load and Battery shall connected to load thru’ tap cell diode. After completion of charge, Battery is connected to load automatically.

Normally Float charger always take care of load and FCB kept as standby. FCB will operate either in Float mode or Boost Mode. When Boost charge required Battery and FCB charger combination shall be isolated from load thru’ DC contactor automatically to avoid high voltage insertion to load and Battery shall be connected to load thru’ tap cell diode. After completion of charge, Battery will connect to load automatically. During Boost operation, if Float charger fails, FCB will take care of Load.

4. Dual Float cum Boost Charger
Normally one FCB charger always take care of load and other FCB kept as standby. Each FCB will capable to operate either in Float mode or Boost Mode. When Boost charge required, Battery and FCB-II combination shall be isolated from load thru’ DC contactor automatically to avoid high voltage insertion to load and Battery shall be kept as support to load thru’ tap cell diode. After completion of charge, Battery will be connect to load automatically. During Boost charge, if one FCB fails, other FCB will take care of load without interruption.
